IRman with plugin, G. 3.2.6b - sometimes random eventstrings

Most of the time, it works great, but when testing, i noticed that some times instead of the correct eventstring, i get random ones while holding down the button on the remote. i guess, the decoding-algorithm gets out of sync and doesnt know how to decode the incoming datastream.

it happens not that often, but often enough to be reproduced with a little button-tipping.

i wonder, if someone could explain how i use the plugin right, maybe its just a little fine tuning.

i use IRman, Girder 3.2.6b, the UIR/... -plugin and WinXP.

As far as I can tell it's a hardware problem, not much a plugin can do about it. ( my irman has the same thing ).

still i wonder, what good are the plugin-settings for, especially the fast<->slow-setting?

that doesn't matter to much, leave it where it is.
