remote problem

Does the Green Led on the Girder window flash when you press a button on the remote. Does it flash all the time, thus also when you the winamp block is in progress ?

What software are you using to play? Is it winamp? Also what remote are you using with your IRMAN? Some more info would be nice.
At this point, it could be software or hardware or even both.

i have started trying to use my IRMan but have come across a problem. I can program the remote and set up Girder but once one command has accepted i.e play, I can't send another command until the song has finished.

Sorry that is a good point...I was at work at the time and trying to do other stuff at the same time.
Anyhow the software is winamp version 2.73 and the remote is from a hauppauge tv card not sure exactly which model but it was an early pci card about 2-3 years old.

just checked it out and after the first command has been accepted i.e. PLAY it turns to a yellowy orange colour
