Problems learning IR codes with Pronto and Irman

Thanks for the quick reply. I've included copies of the e-Groups message to make this easier to follow.

I've done some more testing and I completely stumped. Girder indicates that Irman is seeing the same IR code when I press a given pronto button several times. I've tried this over a dozen times for each code and it appears that Irman is decoding the IR strings correctly. In addition to dozens of different RC5 codes, I've also tried teaching Girder IR commands from remotes I have around the house. My MultiGroup commands still trigger multiple times using these remotes.

Here's the weird part: Antirepeat wait time does not appear to be functioning properly with these particular MultiGroup commands. I can set the Antirepeat wait time to a value 2000 which should allow it to ignore duplicate IR strings if they occur closer than 2 seconds apart. Oddly, If I send the IR code 4 times within the 2 second window, the MultiGroup will trigger 3-4 times. Is it possible that there's something in these MultiGroups that is somehow affecting how Girder looks at Antirepeat wait time?

I've tried 3.019, 3.020 preview 3 and 3.020 final release. The symptoms are nearly identical. The only difference is that some of my commands fail because 3.019 does not support the alternate keyboard commands introduced in 3.020 preview and final releases.

I think I have found the problem,
when you push the button at the moment
that girder is waiting in a "wait" command
it seems as though the signal will bypass
the antirepeat.

I'm looking into it now....

Girder 3.0.21 pre 2 (http://www.stack.nl/~stilgar/windoze/files/Girder3021pre2.zip)

Copy the executable over the previous version.

Hi Steve,

The problem was in the fact that the anti repeat was set after all the commands in a
multigroup where executed, I expected that
nothing could happen before the execute thread finished, the event input loop and
the execute function are in the same thread
so it should not be possible that anything
happens, BUT it did,... so i set the anti-repeat before Girder processes all the commands. Et voila

The new build of Girder fixed the problem I was having with the Macro Exectution from my MX-1000 too.

I use multimedia keyboard but cable one. The problem you have may be generated by driver for your keyboard. I have similar problems. All mutlimedia keys generate the same scan code, until I unistall orginal driver for multimedia keys and use Girder instead. Maybe it help.
