Or you could just change the Winamp default to enqueue on double-click. It's in Preferences-Setup-File Types.

On the subject of cueing songs, I recomend using WinCue from http://www.wincue.org/ because it can turn Winamp into a Jukebox.

It opens another window that looks similar to the playlist window and you can use the Media Library to load the list of all the songs in certain directories, like FullPlaylist. Instead of loading their titles into the playlist, however, it loads them into the WinCue window.

When you double click the name of a song, it will be cued at the end of the playlist. In fact, you can have it automatically cue a song if it gets to the end of the playlist and no one has cued a song. Real Jukebox functionality!

And, the author is great and trys hard to implement our suggestions.

Ok, the quickest solution I can think of...Use a multicommand and in this use a right click command and then send an "e" to forground task to force winamp to enque. Set this action to a button on your remote and your set. This would simulate you manually right clicking and hitting "e" to enque file(s) via the windows pop up action box, just like your used to.

But might I suggest alternatives... The method you are using has it's share of problems. In the TIPS and TRICKS section, I mentioned a plugin for Winamp called, FULLPLAYLIST by Kano. This program will enque all your directories (you can tell it wich ones) when winamp is launched and via sending a timed ALT-SHIFT-F1 you can sort the files into alphabetical order. Then it is a simple matter of picking what song you want to play in your playlist after that from all your mp3s. The only problem with this method, is their is no way of queing songs (darn it!). Winamp 3 when released will fix that though.

Caffiend,
But then you would have a hard time clearing playlist... The double right click-e method is easiest and most reliable.

Hello, all. I am setting up my HTPC using Girder, and I am working on a control set for WinAmp. I have gotten everything working that i need save one. I use Windows Explorer to view my MP3 directories on my server. I can navigate explorer using the joypad on my remote, but I can't seem to get the WM codes to "enqueue" directories or files into WinAmp - I can only simulate a double-click, which clears my current playlist and loads only the track selected.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for the tip. I'll probably use the doubleclick-e method, though - I don't want to wait for WinAmp to load up 50+ gigs of music every time it opens!

Thanks!
