XP_OSD Version 1.2 (http://www.girder.nl/downloadn.php?Link=441)

More bug fixes and a couple of new features/enhancements. From the readme:

New Features:
Added Girder variable support for “Background Image” file name.

[list=a:943ca62e4e] Usage: save the fully-qualified file name (“C:\Program Files\Nirvis\Album Covers\Donald Fagen - The Nightfly.jpg”) of the image to a Girder variable or text register.
Enter the name of the Girder variable or text register in XP OSD’s “Image File Name” edit box (located on the “Background Image” property page) . Note: Don’t forget the opening and closing square brackets. [/list:o:943ca62e4e]
Enhancements:
Added auto color-key function to automatically generate a transparency color-key value that is relatively close to the color of the display text. This was added to avoid color transitions between the display text and the transparent window areas. Prior to this change XP OSD used a dark green color key (R:0, G:20, B:0) which caused dark edges on light colored text.
Bug Fixes:
Change behavior of “OSD Size Adjust” dialog to always remain the top most window to prevent it from potentially being lost behind the OSD window. This fix also corrects a size run-away condition when sizing the OSD window by clicking and holding one of the size adjust buttons and allowing the OSD window to overlap and obscure the button. This would cause the button to remain “clicked” making it impossible to release the button.

Added support for non-standard font sizes. XP OSD will now accept font point sizes up to 300 points. Note that large font sizes can increase rendering time substantially.

Fixed OSD text clipping problem when text shadowing was enabled and text block alignment was set to anything other than vertical and horizontal center.

Fixed problem with negative text shadow offsets values breaking when the “Text Shadow” checkbox was checked->unchecked->checked.

Added support for “&” characters in OSD text.

Corrected inaccurate window sizing and word wrapping with “Automatic Word Wrap” using large font point sizes.

Corrected a problem under Windows 98/Me: executing a second XP OSD command would fail to resize and move the OSD window if the second XP OSD command used a different window position and/or size.

Fixed erroneous “Native Image Size” (Background Image property page) display values when the browse for image file dialog returned an empty file name string (user cancelled browse).

Enjoy! -- Steve
