Hi Ron,

Those of us over at AVS have been having some issues with RC-5 codes as interpreted through Girder, and I figured who would be better to answer our questions than you. :)

Rather than reprint all of the posts, if you have a few minutes, could you please read the last 6 or so posts here?

BTW, while I have you, it seems that I finally have a few people working on some of the Girder/Pronto combo files that I spoke with you about some time back. I expect that after the holidays, I will have enough files to warrant posting on your site, if you are still interested. Please let me know and I will work out the particulars with you.

Dear Bob,

Girder knows nothing of the remotes and stuff. It's all in the plugins / hardware. The UIR does all the decoding for the plugin so even the plugin has no idea what kind of signal it received. Actually no plugin maintained by me gets info about the RC5 codes.
