View Full Version : Please help with APPCOMMAND

I'm a complete newbie to Girder, I am trying to figure out how to asign APPCOMMANDS to remote commands using Girder.

I have the Windows Media Center list of all the buttons and equivalent commands, but I can't figure out how to implement this in Girder, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Here's a picture of some of the commands for MCE.

Are you trying to control Girder with these appcommands or should girder create the appcommands to control something else ?

Trying to get Girder to control Media Center with the appcommands.

look up the numbers of the APP_COMMANDS and use the sendmessage plugin.

Hi,
What about ir emitter that goes out of MCE box and connects to ir window on set-top box (cable, satellite)
I ran into this problem: to use PVR functionality of XP MCE there has to be a way of controlling the separate cable box. I think Microsoft uses USB ir emitter to do so. Do you know which one, and where can I get it?
