Hello,

I use Winamp3 to run both music and videos, and I've been trying to find a way to toggle display of the Winamp3 AVS and Video windows using Girder.

What I'd like to do eventually is have it detect wether the file being played is a video file (avi) or a music file (mp3) and show the correct corresponding window to the media being played. But that's a future goal, right now I'm just trying to toggle the two within a girder event.

If anyone can shed some light on the subject I'd be much appreciative.

Thanks,
Travis Collins

It should work just fine to creat a multigroup and with each of the 2
commands inside the multigroup, you could have one send a shortcut to start the AVS, and the other send a shortcut key to start the video window.
Sorry if this isn't usefull. I use Winamp2 and works fine. I haven't used much of Winamp3 as it is just too busy. (Meaning, too many approaches to get to different things you need to get too.)

AFAIK there is not a hotkey to show or hide AVS or the video window in Winamp3. I could do this in winamp 2, but now that i've upgraded it appears they have removed the hotkey.

Anyone have any ideas of how to get the AVS window up through girder? or how to close the video window or the AVS window?

In Winamp 2.x you can toggle the current visualization plugin (which is the AVS in default) by sending a command with wparam 40192 to winamp. This might work in Winamp 3 as well.
