Hi all,

Having trouble with RC5 and/or codegen codes creating the same ir string in girder no matter which button I press. Specifically with codegen codes there is a push at avsforum to standardize a library of ccf files for pronto and girder groups that can be plugged in and just work. The IR standard has been chosen as codegen. If I assign ten different codes to ten different buttons in the pronto, when I train girder I get the same eventstring, and each of the ten events is triggered when I push any of the ten buttons :( Any ideas as to what's wrong? I see mentions of the double RC5 codes but I don't think that's what's going on here. I have the backplane version of UIRT2, and the 1.7 firmware, and the ferrite and cap installed at the receiver.

Thanks for any suggestions,
Vince

Ok, I upgraded to the 1.8 firmware and the latest uirt.dll and still no joy. Any ideas? It seems like this has to be in the firmware/plugin somewhere.

I seem to be having the same problem ... trying to use a Philips On Digital remote (with keyboard built in) and all buttons come out with the same event code.

I'm not sure, but I think the second code received straight afterwards varies slightly ... I haven't put much time in yet, just thought I'd look and see if anyone else has the same problem.

Are there any known cures ?
