To add a hotkey to toggle (disable/enable) the screen saver:
1. Download and install HotSpot 1.6:
http://www.entic.net/~vmoya/archive/software/hotspot1_6.zip
This utility adds a little "sun" in the system tray that shows whether the screen saver is enabled or disabled. It also adds two "hotspots" to the screen: put the mouse pointer in the upper-left corner to stop the screen saver from starting, or put the pointer in the lower-right corner to start the screen saver (which corner is used for what function is configurable).
Put hotspot.exe (or a link to it) in your startup folder.
2. In Girder, make a new action of the "command" type, "command" function
3. Click the "Capture" button, then "Start Capture"
4. Right-click the HotSpot system-tray icon and select "Disable Screen Saver"
5. Back in Girder, click "Stop Capture" and select the action from the list for the executable "HOTSPOT.EXE" of type "Command" (The Wparam will be 201).
6. Test to make sure the command does what you want by clicking the "Test Event" button: The HotSpot icon should change from unlit to lit to show that the screen saver is re-enabled, and lit to unlit for disabled.
7. Click "ok" and then "apply" to save your new command.
8. Use "Learn" to associate your new action with a button and have fun!
