I think i made my IR Receiver the right way, at least it recognizes signals and sends them to Girder. Now i have the problem that every button on my remote control sends at least 10 different IR Codes when pushing it several times. Wouldn be too hard if there was not the other problem that nearly all buttons have at least "1" equal code, so that it is impossible to make a proper configuration becaue every new push on a button could start or close everything. :( :( :(
Is it a bug of the software? Did i make something wrong with the Receiver?
Im grateful for any help i can get... Email is preferred: either Martin.sgf@web.de or Martin.Tekaat@t-online.de

Thank You
Cu

Maybe a bit more info:

- What IR receiver?
- What brand/model of remote?
- What Plugin?

The remote control is a Pioneer one i think the aticle number is CU-VSA035, the same as it it displayed in the Girder Splah Screen.
The PlugIn i Use is "igor SFH-56"
and the IR Receiver is self-made, i have the URL with the descreption on how to build it, but it is in german, but maybe you can look at the plan of the construction, which is on Page 2. The URL is:

And thanks for your answer ...

Very detailed description. Almost too detailed, it requires me to page down too often.

Anyway, this schematic is a much used and simple one, but I do not like it. I have had problems with the 78L05 not being able to keep power, especially because it is fed by only one line. In my experiance it will work on many systems (it is used a lot) but be unreliable on others. Maybe you have one of the others.

But I am not sure, it could also be the Pioneer, I have no knowledge of those.

You could try and see if someone else in this forum can confirm if Pioneer has weird behaviour. Or you could rebuild your receiver with zener diode rather than 78L05. For me, the latter did take out instability in the signal.

Here is the receiver I build. On the page, there are also references to other zener receivers, like Igor's own design:
