Come on, someone out there must have it working - there are exported groups for it!! Please post if you have it working.

Thanks

I think most people only uses ATI's Direct Show filters, not their player interface, and runs it through ZoomPlayer (that can also export it's own GML with all shortcut keys). 8)

I have a GML export that will work with the DVD player (at least it launches it and uses shortcut keys to press play and such). It is not polished off yet, and I think it would be better if I targeted the controls at specific instsances (DVD,TV,FilePlayer, etc) and then different settings could work for each window.

I'll update this when I change it. Also, this file smoothly uses the remote wonder to move the mouse and controls Winamp3.

Have a look.

After posting my gml above, I played with the DVD settings a bit. I don't think you can properly target the ATIMMC application when developing an event/command combo.

It seems that when you try and target the ATIMMC program or anything else related to the DVD player then the command doesn't get to the program properly.... only seems to work if DVD in foreground and you send the keystrokes to the foreground application.

Thanks, ngifford, that's what I found, too.
Thanks for your confirmation!

I have Girder working with ATIDVD 7.6. Used the exported group, and installed the genremctl.dll file that could be found on ATI`s website previously. Works like a charm!

Harald

Edit: forgot to mention, I use the 3.1 version of Girder....

ATIDVD 7.6 wouldn't install on my media computer, as it complained that I didn't have ATI hardware (even though I did).

Thanks
