I am a newbie to Girder and find it the most confusing thing ever
so i need some help
i run zoomplayer as my media content and exported a gml file to girder
i also downloaded the plugins for girder for the ATI remote
i go to girder settings and click on the ati plugin
then i load the zoomplayer gml file and goto plugins and the ati plugin does not show
i need a basic walk through on this
and how i can make the ati remote control zoomplayer
i thank you for your help

put the ati plugin in the <girderdir>\plugins

for example

c:\program files\girder3\plugins\

and restart girder.

Thanks for that info, but i have done this alreay
i have the following .dlls in the plugins dir atirw.dll in C:\Program Files\girder32\plugins
in the settings in girder it says under plugins "plugin is loaded in memory (sending events)" and its highlighted in light green but wont show under the zoomplayer.gml when loaded and looking in plugins, yet the internet event plugin for example says the following " plugin is not loaded in memory (not sending events)" and its a different shade of green. but this plugin shows up in the plugins option when the zoomplayer.gml is loaded and you go the plugins folder.
I dont know why this is
thanks

aaaah.

Well the ATI plugin is not supposed to show up anywhere else. Press a button on the ATI remote and the light in the girder statusbar should blink. That's it.

ok thanks
so i have exported the .gml from zoomplayer to girder
it shows up with all the commands in girder
i push a button on the AIW remote and the icon flashes
but now, how do i actually get it to work with zoomplayer
it wont start zoomplayer using the remote near as i can tell, so i start zoomplayer using the mouse :) then i load a movie again using the mouse and try the AIW remote and i dont get any functions working
please advise, i must be missing something simple
