I recently had to rebuild my system. I installed girder 3.2 and loaded up my .GML file that I built and used before. I am using the igor plugin and only use the remote for winamp. Girder is getting the commands but the eventstrings seem to be different????? If I do a "Test command" it works great. However with the remote I can see the little icon in the sys tray recieving the event but nothing happens?? I don"t have the option to "not send command when in foreground" set. I have struggled with this a few times over the last couple of weeks whenever I had a chance and tonight I decided to stick a new event string under an old one and it works for that command. Is there something different in the new girder that makes the event strings different? because as far as I can tell they look different and thats why this .GML is not working? I dont want to have to go through and re do all the events ???? does anyone have any ideas here ?

What did you do to "rebuild" your system? The Igor plugin uses PC CPU time to decode the incoming event data. It looks like you have changed the characteristics of the PC enough to disturb/change that decoding. I think the only solution is to re-learn the event strings. Sorry. :(

EDIT: Then again, you may only need to boost the priority of the igor plugin.
