how to retrieve code from RC under CABLE mode

ah now i see what you mean, can you try to program the remote to emulate a different brand of cable remote ? This might help.

I can't retrieve distinguiable data from my universal remote control(RCA) under CABLE mode. It can operate the cable box well. But once I used Serial Watcher and IRServer to monitor the signal it send, all I got are same numbers.
Does anyone know this problem? Any solutions?

Those universal RC always comes with at least 4 modes, "TV", "VCR", "AUX", "CBL" or "CABLE" or "CAB" or "SAT"(satellite).
They are usually located at the very top of the Remote Control.
