Anyone help? When I try to install Girder I get 'Unable to Register the DLL/OCX: DllRegister Server failed; code 0x8007007E'
If I go to DOS and go to the directory and try typing regsvr32 Girder.dll, I get the error message 'DllRegisterServer in Girder.dll failed'
I'm using XP..
Help anyone?
Thx
James

No clue. This file is not crucial to Girder operation, so you can use it without. Though if anyone knows what is causing this I'm all ears.

Is the distributed build ReleaseMinDependency or ReleaseMinSize? The latter will need ATL.DLL, which a number of other things use, but which is not part of Windows itself. The former avoids this by being a tiny bit larger.

It is MinSize, so that is the problem, thanks Mike!!
ingha_j, could you please test the attached file ?

Ron...thanks very much for your help!
So, interesting..! I first pasted the new file you sen me into the folder I had originally downloaded girder into, went to the dos prompt to that folder and tried 'regsvr32 girder.dll'...got the same error message as before... BUT just on the off chance, I then copied the file to the Windows directory, and did the same (again from the DOS prompt), and this time got a message to say 'DllRegisterServer in girder.dll succeeded' !
So many thanks for your help, and I hope this is useful!!!
Best
James
