Can you please tell me which hardware plugins are enabled in Girder? Thanks.

Unforunately, I have NONE of the software or hardware you mention. Hopefully, someone else can jump in here.

By the way, welcome to Girder!

I've got Girder receiving remote signals, and commands written. But within one minute of controlling my DVD player program, the program stops responding. The DVD keeps running, but any control of it is gone. Actually using the mouse or keyboard within the program stop working as well, and I need to CTRL-ALT-DEL to close it. If I run Girder, but disable the remote, the program runs fine, leading me to believe that there is a COM port issue or some other hardware-to-software thing going on.

I am using the Packard Bell Fast Media Remote Control and Receiver. They are set for COM1. I only have one serial port on my computer, which is, as I understand it, only able to be configured as COM1. There is nothing else setup as using COM1 on the computer, and COM1 is not sharing its IRQ with anything else.

The software I am running is Creative's Play Center, running my Toshiba DVD drive and the Creative PC-DVD decoder card.

Does anybody have any ideas or suggestions? The reason I got the remote and Girder were to run this program.

Thanks. :???:

Sorry, meant to include that info: I've only got the SFH-56 Igor Plugin enabled.
