Applying Igor plugin: settings greyed out

I first installed girder on an old computer and had no problems with setting it up and using other than one little quirk. When trying to apply the Igor plugin i found that both the "apply" and the "settings" buttons where greyed out. Somehow i was able to get past this but unfortunatly on my new comp I am stuck at with the same problem. I have spent a long time looking throught the forums with no answers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

did you checked (marked) the IGOR-PLUG checkbox in the file-settings / plugin?

most likely the plugin is not loaded in memory, just present in the directory...

Thanks for the reply Marsupial, in the setting/plugins window there are no placed to check beside the plugins. You are correct that the plugin is not loaded in memory as this is what it says at the bottom.

UNFORTUNATLY, I have a new problem. I went to try what u suggested and now when i open girder i get a number of error messages saying "Old plugin found," "you dl'd incorrect verion." Then this repeats for a number of plugins. The only problem is that the only plugin i dl'd was the igor one. Why all of a sudden do I get these messages???
