At least two possible answers: Wrong setup of the plugin (experiment with alternatives DCD, CTS and all that), a remote with an anti-repeat function that makes it send different codes (lots of those around) and finally, if you're using an IR to RF sender you might have the RF receiver/IR blaster too close to the PCs IR receiver. I have had that problem at times, and it manifested itself in different codes. :cool

Also try Setting the Priority to the Max. If this works then Try setting it lower until you almost always get the same codes.

Hi!
I just switched from WinME to WinXP prof. on my htpc and now girder isn't working anymore. It was fine with ME but now I have the same problems as described above. Everytime I press a key on my remote Girder shows a different code.
I tried to change the settings of the igor plugin and I switched off my IR repeater (sending IR codes after receiving them from my remote via RF). No change...
Any ideas?
Greetings,

Try relearning your codes. changes in the system can screw up Igor Codes.

the newest igor plugin that supports USB IGOR seams faulty. I downgraded to the previous version for the reasons described above.
I cannot tell if its a misconfiguration, but older versions works fine.

Yeah, changing operating system can and usually will mess up your codes. I have had that happen twice on two attempts with the Igor Plugin. 8)

Hi!
I am sorry, just tried to increase the priority (it was at 7 and I put it to 8) and everything worked again. A typical TATFS situation (try all the f***ing suggestions) :D
Thank you!
