You're right i'll take 1.2 down from the page.

It looks like the keyboard plug-in v1.2 is not capable of modifier keystroke combinations. Going back to v1.1, everything works fine. I was unable to activate a command with any Ctrl, Alt or Shift keystroke combinations with v1.2. For example, when I try to learn Ctrl+Q, I get just Ctrl. This pretty much make this driver useless to me. I need all the modifier combinations I can get to emulate Airboard/Pronto functions. Again, v1.1 seems to work fine.

Ron,

Yes you did, which is great. I tend to download the latest revisions of things, assuming the latest revision is better. Apparently not in this case. Just wanted to warn people, if they haven't already figured it out.

Yeah, I have a question about that.
What version is this exactly? It claims 1.1 and has the same filesize, but a different modified date and is a different file (fc confirms) from the "1.1" included with 3.0.22.
The 3.0.22 keyboard 1.1 works great for me, but the 3.0.23 "1.1" doesn't. I'm running Win98SE, and the newer 3.0.23 "1.1" nolonger distinguishes between my MM keys and the arrow-keys, Home, End, etc.
Examples:
Key: . code 3.0.22 1.1: . 3.0.23 "1.1":
Vol - . . . . . . . 21000XZ . . . 21000LZ
Page Up. . . . 210000Z . . . 21000LZ
Play/Pause. . 22000XZ . . . 22000LZ
Page Down . 220000Z . . . 22000LZ
Prev. track . . 24000XZ . . . 24000LZ
Home . . . . . . 240000Z . . . 24000LZ
Program 2 . . 26000XZ . . . 26000LZ
Left arrow . . 260000Z . . . 26000LZ

You get the idea (I just hade fun documenting it all in a spreadsheet. If you want the full list I can send it.)
Anyway, the **000XZ and **0000Z keys are now sent as **000LZ (or sometimes, the L is always a 0, ie, Program 2 and Left arrow both giving 260000Z). What's the sixth digit L/0 supposed to mean? The 3rd-5th "SAC" Shift, Alt, Ctrl modifiers are nice and obvious, and the 7th "Z" is for the extended buttons.

Anyone else have this problem with 3.0.23's Keyboard driver "1.1"? I'll just keep using the file from 3.0.22 for now.

Thanks again for all the great work people!

How can you get 3.0.22 and will it work with Girder 3.2.5?

Ron,

In retrospect it all makes sense. I assume the Keyboard and KeyboardEX drivers are doing a better job tyhan this dated post. I still can't get the Airboard to work reliably with Girder & IRman with either plugin or both.

Bob Sorel took a shot at doing a GML for each keypress and that didn't solve it either.

Anyone,

Is there a reliable airboard replacement that works with Girder & IRman??????
