Yo, do u have an idea why i can not "learn" my tascam RC? wintlirc works, no errors and i can program any RC (akai, lifasat etc.) but girder says: error, cant open comport, after all i can not program anything.
do i have to start winlirc first (i tried everything, i think)?
I have: winlirc 0.6.4, an IR (home made) on ser. port (com 1), girder 3.28, Win XP, and lot of patience :(
what is ur advise?
thanks a lot for ur time!

i was testing the prog and i founded the reason. in the settings/plugins i have to select an input device, so silitek gave the com port probs (logical, because i dont have silitex ), now is it gone :)
but now what input device do i have to use with winlirc (some driver)?
pls tell me just in a few words,
tnx a lot,

I use the IGOR plugin with my winLIRC. Just the proper settings is needed.

hope this helps.

Yes, it works!
Just to find a proper *.dll put in the plug in directory, little configuration and that’s all. That was easy!
Thank a lot for ur response Marsupial, really!!!
