eventstring triggers an command in the loaded gir file that has a matching evenstring learned to it. Here is a little detail to keep in mind, it does NOT use the device number. Thus if the Irman and the TCP/IP plugin have the same evenstring it will trigger them both. ( This is normally not the case of course, Girder will trigger only one of them depending on the origin of the eventstring )

As far as I know, you can't use any command line options. Girder doesn't work that way....

could u provide me with specific command line syntaxis , and examples if you could ? :smile:
I'm intrested especially in running commands of girder from command line ...

that's what I need :smile: ... I'll just make my own server to recieve commands and then run girder with the eventstring for specified button :smile:
