Hi,
What you are looking for is the ANTI-REPEAT feature of girder. When you click on a command, you will see on the right hand of your screen ENABLED, LEARN EVENT, etc.. you will also see ANTI-REPEAT WAIT TIME with a empty white box next to it. I recommend you put in the ANTI-REPEAT white box 250 milliseconds. Basically, this makes girder wait 250 milliseconds before it allows itself to sense the button press again. This will stop girder from repeating commands..

Hello, I'm using Girder with the WinLIRC plugin, and a Packard Bell Remote. the Buttons seem to be really touchy, i.e., when i push the button i assigned to turn on winamp, it opens and closes winamp 3 times before it decides to stay put. And when i advance tracks, it advances 3 unless it tap the button lightly. How can I solve this?

That did the trick. Thanks so much! Now, onto making my computer a giant, remote-controlled jukebox!
