Windvd plugin?

I just got IRMAN and tried using the accompaning software, which includes a Windvd plugin
There is no "play" command available in the windvd plugin. There is a "play/pause" command, but that doesn't work when trying to start a dvd from the main title menu.
Can someone tell me what I am failing to understand here?

Hi,

I don't use Girder for WinDVD control apart from starting it, but rather than use the pause/play (space) key you might want to use the enter key instead. This better imitates the behaviour of a standalone player
