mouse reciever a4tech infrared

I have a infrared a4tech mouse and i wont to use the reciever with girder, te reciever have a ps2 connection ...it will work???

It will work fine as a mouse, but not as a receiver for an universal infrared remote control.

Just because it is Infrared, doesn't mean that it is universal.

Wireless keyboards/mice and remotes use different frequencies and protocols.
