Have a look at Media Jukebox. You can get it at http://www.musicex.com . There's a plugin for Girder available. And it features a special remote menu mode that's easily readable from greater than normal distances. It work's great for me.

Hi Wykat,

ok, now I can see what you're looking for. As long as you keep 'Playing now' as the current view, the currently playing file is the one that's selected. The other problem is to add it to a categorie you can use for filtering... that doesn't seem to be possible right now easily enough to be done using just one button on the remote. Maybe they add something like it in the next version (go to their interact page an file a request for this feature, you'll get at least my vote ).

Hi,

I've installed Girder now for my HTPC and the result is remarkable. A simple remote control for Digital TV reception, DVD, music, etc. Great.

The only real function I'm still missing is to easily delete or even better filter MP3 files I don't like. It can of course be done with keyboard/mouse, but which program supports this with Girder?

thanks in advance.
Wykat

P.s. The 2nd language selection in WinDVBlive will be resolved in WinDVBlive (hotkey)

Media Jukebox has been one of the programs I've tried, but also in this program you first have to select the playing file in the 'playing now' list until you can delete the file or change the properties. Since the actual song is a moving target in the play list, how can you go around that?

thx in advance,
Wykat
