This is what I want girder to do for me. When I schedule a program to watch with ATI scheduler, the tv automatically launches and depresses the record button. I want to know if girder can "learn" or sense that command "Record" that the scheduler gives after it has launched the TV and use that to a trigger events such as: minimize the TV window after 1 minute. I also want to program girder to learn the "Stop Record" command so that it will trigger events such as: close TV window after 1 minute. I think I am clear on how to set up the events or actions. I really want to know if girder can "learn" commands that programs give, such as: play, stop, record, channel up, etc., not ir or keystroke, just windows bases actions that the scheduler tells the TV app., and use them as eventstrings? If so, please help me on how to do this. :D

I think DVDSpy can send events to Girder based on the ATI MMC status (and many other applications, such as Winamp, by the way).

However, my suggestion would be to use Girder as the scheduler instead of the ATI scheduler, using the TimeServer plugin. That way Girder (and you) will have complete control on what runs when and how.
