Hi guys,
well, it is possible to bring a PC into Standby (S3) with a remote control. As a lazy bastard I would also like to wake it up by a remote control. I don't want to get up from my comfy chair to press a button on my PC.
Any idea how this might work.

I actually have an ATi Remote Wonder. My motherboard supports RESUME ON USB. When the mobo is in S3/hibernation the LED on the ATi USB Remote Wonder Transceiver is still on (=has power). How come, that the PC doesn't wake up again. Anyone with experience on that subject?

your motherboard have the option, but is it enabled?
I know I disabled it as my computer was waking on when I used the mouse...

Here an answer from ATi:
I have spoken to our Remote Wonder technical team and they tell me that unfortunately, we do not support this capability today.
We understand what you are asking for, but this is not a feature of our product.
