It is probably a limitation of the remote but I really don't know and can't find the answer. I have been practicing with some simple execute commands. After I push "learn" and select a button on the remote, there is a corresponding number near the green dot. My question is: Should that number stay the same for the selected remote button that is pushed? If I push it more than once I get a different number. Is this normal or a limitation of the remote? Thanks.

I'm using the Igor plug-in.

I bought this at compgeeks a year ago and always wanted to give it a whirl. That's for making Girder available to everyone.

I have been searching but can find no answer. I usually need to push a button more than once to get anything executed. Like I mentioned, I get several numbers for each button push. Do I need to program each of those codes for the same thing? Thanks for any reply.

it is a limitation of the hardware receiver. do a search on the packard bell remote and you'll find many comments and remarks about the remote. including suggestions about what to do.
