This is likely trivial to the experts, but I have tried for hours, searched the forums, and read the FAQ with no luck. What I want to do is reassign the Windows cut, copy, and paste keys (ctrl-x, ctrl-c, and ctrl-v) to other, easier to use key combos, in particular alt-q, alt-w, and alt-e respectively.
I have tried many times with Notepad as a test, using Grider's Command tab, and also Keyboard tab, with no luck. I tried targeting Notepad, which sometimes would send a some odd, erroneous command, but never the intended one. Sending to the foreground task never sent anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I am using Windows XP Home on a Dell Inspiron 4100 notebook, with Girder v. 3.2.9.
Thanks Ron for sharing with the community the results of your excellent efforts in developing Girder.
