Hello. I spent a few hours searching thru previous posts and I found most of the components I needed to solve my problem, but I'm having a spot of trouble putting it all together.

I own one of those cheap Packard Bell remotes, and I am running the latest version of Winamp 2, version 2.91. I have the Igor SFH56-device plug-in, the Winamp [FULL] group by Mike Hineline and a confirmed working COM1 port. How do I use these to configure my remote to allow me to use it for basic funtions such as previous/nest, volume control, computer shutdown, stop, play, pause and winamp shutdown?

I would greatly appreciate any help, and a step-by-step walkthrough would make you my personal heroes. :D

Thank you.

This has been covered before - once you have confirmed that the Igor plugin is working (you see the icon flashing whenever you press a button on your remote), then all that is left for you to do is load the Winamp2 export group into Girder, and start learning events. The "Getting Started" guide and other tutorials are available...

Good luck, and welcome to Girder!
