I’ve been trying to figure this out by searching the girder forums and asking some questions but I’m still lost. Currently I use an ATI remote wonder, the one that came with my AIW video card. The remote works great with girder. (once I installed the proper plugins) but I would like to use a different remote control with xlobby.
What I would like to do is to use the universal remote that I use with my AV Reciever since the ATI remote is RF instead of IR, I cant learn it’s commands with my universal remote. I’m considering buying another IR pc remote one whose codes I could perhaps teach to my universal remote.
Is anyone else doing anything like this?
On a side note, I have a second issue that might put a hitch in this idea. My keyboard and mouse input come from an IR airboard is it possible to have another ir remote which doesn’t interfere with that other ir device receiver? Am I asking too much? Probably, but I want it all. :-)
