:D finally after 7 months of non stop searching for solution that girder doesnt support USB base irda modules......because there's only Com 1 to Com 7 serial its practically impossible for girder to recongnize USB base irda module.......

i finally came thru this site after googling for months.......

www.ircomm2k.de come here download the patch but mind there only for win2k and winxp........then set the rite com number usually com5 now your usb irda module can be USE !! WOOHOOOOO !!! damn happy man.......sigh... :roll: er am i the only one on earth that came out with this perfect solution ^^ ehem.........too humble ahhaah

I have donwloaded and installed this software but I cant seem to get it to work with my Belkin smartbeam IRDA usb. How does the sofware know what your ir device is without asking you and is there a way to check if it is working properly as I have had know luck so far.

:o Well I couldn't seems to make it working on girder. Mind to tell the detail of the configuration?
