I know this is a plain. Try the GMedia player from the girder download page. It is basically the mediaplayer 6.4 with remote control support.

Hi there!
I can't figure out how to send keystrokes to Windows Media Player 6.4 (like Alt+Enter). I downloaded the group for Media Player 6.4, but that does not work either. It seems I'm sending the keys to the wrong child component of media player. None of the keyboard shortcuts work via Girder (space, up, down, ...).
Thanks for your help.

Ya, I've got the same problems.
I found that by retargeting only to the executable some of the problems are fixed.
I get some problems with repeated keys even with antirepeat, I think its targetting multiple windows, and I can't make alt+enter work at all.
