Xmitting commands with the TIRA

I am new to GIRDER but have mannage to create a group that receives commands from my IR tranmitter and controls the SAGE TV setup I am using. My problem is that I would now like to have GIRDER send additional commands out of the TIRA to control other devices in the room(I.E. set my TV to channel 3 when I enable SAGE) How do I get GIRDER to learn the command from a remote and then send that IR command out the TIRA transmitter?

There is a forum dedicated to the TIRA and I don't know if the developer looks anywhere else.
