I used girder about a year ago with my packard bell. I decided to give it a try again but I can't even find the damn hardware settings to get it started. I look under FILE>SETTINGS but I can't find out where I config. every thing like what COM it is or anything else. Please help.

Hi Incendiary!
No prob, just have a look at File -> Settings and check the plugin tab. Girder works with plugins for different types of input devices, e.g. remotes, keyboard, mouse and so on.

I am not sure regarding your Packard Bell, so please check first if there is already a plugin installed for this (on the plugin tab mentioned above). If not, check www.girder.nl and search for a corresponding plugin under Download / Plugins.

Ok? Good luck!

Kind regards,
Heiko

... You can activate the plugin on this plugin tab and when you select the right "packard bell" plugin, you'll find a Settings buttons (or something similiar to this, I use the german interface...).

see ya,
regards,
Heiko
