:x
My card is Prolink PixelView PlayTV (pro ?).
I tried to use a plugin Pixelview PlayTV pro by Mark Sanderson and by Rajesh Channi.

I checked the plugin in Girder 3.2.9 and my Windows XP (2000) said:
This function requires a video capture device based on the Brooktree (Conexant)
BT848(A), BT849, or BT878 chip. None could be found. Are you sure you have one?

My card is by manual : PV-BT878P+ w/FM
by seller : Prolink Play TV THEAT
and runs good with various applications with settings:
DScaler : Prolink PixelView PlayTV Pro
BorgRemote : Prolink PixelView PlayTV Pro
ATV2000 : PixelView PV878P+
The Remote Control is the same as in picture of channi pixelView plugin.
PixelView Station TV V5.20-9X bundled with Card.

Can you help me? What and why cannot the plugin find?
Answer me, please. Thank you.

Thank to Rajesh Channi for his help:
"You might have loaded WDM drivers, try loading VXD drivers. "
I use WDM drivers in Win2000 and XP .
In Win98 plugin runs good (VfW).

Is it true - Plugin (and the other plugins with dtvdrv.dll) cannot work with WDM? (Why is it written nowhere?)

What drivers (VXD) for PixelView have I to use in Win2000 and XP?
I instaled WDM from original CD with original application and all run good.

Great. I used new version drivers WDM and all is OK now.
I discovered second problem as well.
Filter DCaler for ATV2000 has file Deinterlace.ax.
Loading this filter with this name maybe corupt my driver and plugin do not run. I renamed this file and now all is OK.

Not exactly sure what I did to my own setup that used to work great, but I am now getting this same error. I have tried switching to other BT8X8 WDM drivers (and as I recall one of the VXD) and am currently using version 5.3.8 of the BtWinCap driver <http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/>. The plug-in I am using (which was the one in service back when I had it working) is the one by Mark Sanderson however I get the same error if I use the 2.0 version written by Rajesh Channi. The PixelView application (from the manufacturer) has a program that "listens" to the remote just fine (of course I exit that program prior to loading the plug-in in Girder to avoid driver conflict) but the plug-in tells me it cannot even find a BT8X8 card in my system. What really bothers me is this WAS working and somehow (I have recently been evaluating some PVR software like Beyond TV 3 and have had trouble opening any TV viewer programs for a while until I got this driver back in) I have messed it all up...
