I'm relatively new to (ok brand new) to the girder scene. I recently picked up an e740 and I've used NetRemote w/it to control MC9. I'm now ready for my next goal which is to adapt this (http://www.theatertek.com/forums/showthread.php?s=5a4545cc249cd809cd3f7693664d29cf&threadid=4782) ccf designed for TheaterTek to control both/either PowerDVD or WinDVD, both of which I own already.

I imagine I'd need to change the commands from IR to Internet Events (to use w/WiFi) and that I'd need to map the buttons to the appropriate commands in PDVD or WDVD. I've read the docs but I am still a bit confused.

Any general tips to point me the right way..?

TIA Fellas,

I don't have any hardware you are using, but many people have managed to setup a similar setup. Maybe this page helps for the first steps:

Also take a look at the "Exported Groups" on the Girder homepage. There you find some samples how to control PDVD and WinDVD from Girder.

Brian, I think there is a CCF/GML combo on the NR site for ZP. I plan on making one in the month or so.... and will upload it there.

Or even better, you can do it first and send it to me :D
