View Full Version : Slink-e A-port *receive* info?

I've done a lot of searching on this, but can't seem to figure out how to do it (if it is even possible).

Here's the story. I use Girder to control my Sony preamp via the Control-A1 port. I've noticed that the Slink-e server program is receiving a lot of info from the preamp, in addition to the stuff that I send it through Girder. I've also noticed that there are some commands in the CDE file I use that seem to request the receiver to send info back -- such as source (input) name, "mode" (no idea what that is), etc.

Does Girder's Slink-e plug-in support this? I thought that perhaps learning an event would do the trick, but no go. Further, if I send the command to the preamp to send back the source input name, I don't know where this info is coming back to!!!

Thoughts?
