Getting started

Having read being sitting here since about 6am (now 3pm) I have to admit defeat.

I must have missed the relevant FAQ, either that or I am terminaly stupid.
I have just set up Netremote running Media Centre,and all working,so the WLAN is working and iPAQ is communicating with the PC.

Have tried loading the demo ccf files into Netremote, and the associated gml file in to girder but absolutely nothing what the hell am I missing that does not get set up from either the ccf or gml file. The demo ccf file that I am using also contains pages for Media centre and they work fine.

Have been using a demo file from netremote site.

Have probably assumed something so totally obviously wrong, but having been here for so long, just do not know what I have/and have not tried anymore

Goto to the netremote forum.

There is a good tutorial there on setting up Girder and Netremote.

You have to configuire the internet event server on girder from the plugins tab. This can be difficult at first. There is a readme in the girder directory on this.

Then configuire the plugin in netremote. You will need the same password and same port number!
