Can't execute command

Hi,

It may help when you add which transmitter and receiver you're using. From your comment I understand you're using an IrDA transmitter with normal IR receiver. In my experience these do not work together.

Hai there...

Sorry to trouble you guys. Here is my problem:-


-----Command--------Remote Control Button-
- -
-1. Mouse move up---------Vol+ -
-2. Mouse move down-------Vol- -
- -
------------------------------------------
I can only execute mouse move up command eventhough if I press Vol-

Is it because IrDA is a bad remote device like RonB said or is it because my remote control?

Hi,

Receiver: Built-in laptop infrared
Transmitter: Daewoo VCD 2.0 Remote Control


So, does this mean that I can't control Girder using the remote control or the built-in infrared doesn't recognize the data that been sent?

I already tried the IrDA, Serial & Generic serial plug-in and it still can't work.
