[help] volume control problems

first i have win xp and my remote over hauppauge wintv nexus-s.
the most things works all right but by volume change left/right i have a big problem.
i have tried to set left/right on the standardkey of my remote but always if i raise the volume the balance goes right.
anyway volume left function has the same effect like volume right ,but the balance goes left.

i've found out how it works.
not with volume left/right but with volume change (raise positiv number ,lower negativ number).
it was a little bit confusing because the german translation :)
in english its easier.

Click the Mixer button and select the volume control, you want to be accessed by the Girder event (eg. Master Volume).

On many soundcards you can also control bass and treble this way.
Step size takes positive and negative numbers.

I hope I explained it right as I am running Linux while writing this. So I can't proof it.
