If the help doesn't help, and that is likely cause its not that good at all, use the search function on this board. If your question isn't in there just ask specific questions and i'm sure someone will answer !

Wait and window exists,.. hmm you might want to look at "wait for window" there is a timeout parameter in there.

I find the concept of GIRDER great and appreciate that such a wide community is trying to help. I must confess that I don't yet understand fully the problems in this forum - I am stuck with basic problems (like multicommands, see my previous posting).

Is there anywhere a help that explains how the commands in the different tabs (Windows, O.S., Command, Girder, Keyboard, Mouse) work in detail. Can one Girder command contain at the same time e.g. a wait and a "window exist" check?

How can I use registers? What I wanted to do is to check if a window contains a certain field and issuing the proper action.

In my application (it's a Homeserver application) normally the action is triggered by just entering a number from the numeric pad (numlock). No "return" is necessary. I tried the capture method but no captured command was able to simulate the simple num key press (even with fiddling of targets).

Please forgive me my primitive questions - I'm really a newbie.

Cheers,

-Harald
