"Learn Event" button grayed out?

I'm trying to set up Girder to use my Leadtek WinFast remote control, but my "Learn Event" button is grayed out. Help?

you cannot learn events if input devices are disabled or if a folder is highlighted in the tree

My input devices are enabled and I had a command highlighted.
