I'm not sure i understand this, because Girder saves all the codes in the .gir file. So you only need to save that. What hardware are you using ?

Yeah those settings are stored in the registry but they don't influence the IRcodes,.. at least they should not. So i have no clue what is happening. Maybe you could manually check if the codes that are being sent are still the same as before (open with a text editor or something if the code is longer then the led display)

You didn't just forget to initialize the hardware or tick the Auto Enable device or something like that did you? These settings are stored somewhere else if I remember rightly.

Hi,

I'm planning to make a fresh installation (too much garbage in the present partition). When I copy however the whole Girder directoy, I still have to learn all codes again. Is there a way to avoid this?

response from the master himself  I was hoping the info would be in the .GIR files. I copied the whole Girder directory to a new partition and started Girder again, but it didn't recognize any of the earlier commands.
I had to reinsert the groups, but even this didn't help.

Maybe I did something wrong. Will try again tomorrow.

I'm using the UIRT interface. Everything is still working fine on the 'old' partition. (never though a working system

Ron, I can only say I'm really happy with this software. Hope I can resolve my question.
