M$ speech engine, where to get other voices than Sam ?

I believe MS Speech API version 4 included Mary but she's not that sexy... :wink:

You can have version 4 and 5 installed at the same time (I do) but I'm not promising peaceful coexistance, just saying it may work.

You could also try MSAgent. This would fix your problem with the speech plugin causing blocking while it executes.

You can get the AT&T Natural voices engine for $37 at: http://www.nextup.com/attnv.html
They are the best text-to-speech voices that you can get, I have got a couple of the additional voices as well to use in my home automation system, and they work well with the girder say plugin.
