Hello, is there any plugin to be able to use the built in ir function of iDEQ barebone systems?

According to the ideq faq,
http://www.biostar.com.tw/products/barebone/ideq/faq.php3#

the built in ir is NOT irda, but is supposed to be used for biostar remote controls (which doesn't seem to exist). This should mean that there is a way to recieve standard ir signals.

If there is no plugin, is there anyone that could help me figure out how to make one?

/David

I would try out the various plug-ins, but I doubt any of them work . . . you would have to write one, which obviously would require knowing how to communicate with this IR receiver, knowing how to program, and knowing how to communicate with Girder (the latter is provided on the Girder.nl web site).

Note that external ir receivers are not that expensive . . . www.evation.com and www.home-electro.com.
