Remote's autorepeat

The repeat decoding is done in the UIR. The problem however is that the source to the PIC code is not available, and my guess is it will never be. So either write your own or look into the UIRT this is opensource and activly being hacked on, see the developers section.

Does anybody know how I can make UIR to be able to receive the autorepeat of all remote controls. It works with Panasonic, but doesn't work with Sony or JVC?!?!?!
I suppose there is something to do wiht the timing programed in the PIC, but I'm not sure. In case that noone knows how to change this can anibody give the source code (.asm or s.th. else but not binary) for the 12C509 PIC so I can try and find this part myself (not that there is a great chance this to happen but I can atleast try)
