This looks like a neat program. I see that it supports plugins (or modules) and there is one that accepts command line stuff. That may be a reliable way to change the desktop. Also, I see the module support is built using message passing. The .h file in the module SDK lists the messages used for manipulating the application. Maybe Girder's postmessage function could be used to talk directly to the application.
By the way, WM_USER is defined as hex 400 or decimal 1024.
Good luck!

Hi all! This is my first post here. Girder is an excellent app. It's the standard over on the AVS Home Theatre PC forum.
I've built a Home Theatre PC. I'd like to have several applications running simultaneously, being able to switch between them with a remote and Girder. I use a little utility called VirtuaWin which gives me 9 virtual desktops. I want to run the apps each on their own desktop and switch between them with Girder. So far though, I haven't been able to control VirtuaWin with Girder. I set it as the target and I know the commands are being sent, but VW doesn't respond.
Has anyone had experience with this utility and Girder? If not, can someone suggest a solution just from my description of the problem?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Yes, you certainly can! Here's the URL: http://w1.457.telia.com/~u45706979/ . I just tried it and the site seems to be down, but this one works, though it's a link directly to the VirtuaWin ".exe" file: http://www.student.hk-r.se/~pt96jpi/vwsetup.exe
