lego mindstorms 1.5 ir tower

is it possible to use the ir tower form lego mindstorms robotics invetion system 1.5 with girder?
if it's possible, could anyone explain to me how?

Probably not. There are two other topics about this on this board. If you search around on the internet, or look in the other posts, you can find the serial port connection info. However, the tower will shut off ~3 seconds after being initialized. I managed to get some signals from the tower, but the eventstrings seemed to be random.
